Home Appraiser Education gives you valuable insight into the appraisal process; which is your first step toward getting the training and experience required for professional certification. Home appraiser education teaches you about market analysis, zoning principles, property inspections, estimating value, choosing comparables, using documentation and starting and marketing a private appraisal business. Hands-on projects let you learn by doing. A key lesson involves an actual on-site appraisal, following the nationally recognized format of the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report.
